So far, they have delivered.

When it comes to movies, there are a few documentaries to enjoy, but most Disney fans are anxious to check out the live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp. But it's also relying on brands that were acquired by Disney, including Marvel, Pixar, Fox's entertainment businesses, and Star Wars home Lucasfilm, making it a formidable newcomer. But an image doesn't quite encapsulate the feel of the film like the trailer does. Separating itself a bit from the all-digital-all-the-time strategy of Jon Favreau's The Lion King, the Lady and the Tramp update is using actual dogs in the lead roles, voiced by Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Justin Theroux (The Spy Who Dumped Me).

A live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp will launch on Disney Plus this year.

We're not sure if a cuter couple has ever made an appearance on the red carpet, but the two rescue dogs who play the titular duo had everyone cooing over their charm.

Live action actors to be featured in the movie include Yvette Nicole Brown of Community, and Kiersey Clemons from Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Although lovely, the VFX aren't necessary to tell the small love story. But it looks like the newest adaptation will also add in more romantic adventures between Lady and Tramp, as it shows them running through fields and sneaking onto boats. Maybe this is a chance for some of the lesser-known Disney films to get another go?

It's undeniable that Disney's animated classics hold a special place for filmgoers of all ages. As Netflix scrambles to maintain viewers and content, Disney will be releasing a budget-friendly bundle with Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus.

Lady And The Tramp will be available to stream beginning November 12, as part of the launch of new streaming service Disney+.
