Free roaming "AllDrive" multiplayer will be enabled in Need for Speed: Heat at launch, and rides belonging to members of your "crew" will be displayed in your garage, so you'll be able to keep up with their progress and see what sort of machines they're taking to the street.

Fresh off of its reveal last week, EA have unveiled the first gameplay footage from Need for Speed: Heat at Gamescom 2019. It expands on the cops-versus-racer fantasy established in the reveal trailer, explores day and night races, and gives us our first look at Heat's expanded vehicle customization. No, it's literally day and night.

Need for Speed Heat gamers will be able to take part in sanctioned racing events during the day, although police will remain on patrol to ensure nothing gets out of hand. Night time racing, street race culture, cop chases, auto damage, rep systems and vehicle customisation. Evade the authorities, race to the checkered flag - it's all a matter of just driving hella fast.

Need for Speed: Heat is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 8.
