Dannette told KOTA-TV: "You don't ever see triplets being conceived naturally, let alone going 34 weeks without knowing".

The mum said that when she started having pains, she thought it was from kidney stones, which she has had before.

All born within four minutes, and each weighing four pounds, these triplets were born August 10, 2019 to Dannette and Austin Giltz.

He said: "Once we left the hospital, she's out of the hospital, I know she's okay".

Dannette was quickly rushed in for a CS operation to deliver her babies when the third child was discovered. Turns out she was pregnant. While her husband, Austin, was contemplating what to name their new babies, someone at the hospital asked for a third blanket - indicating a third baby would soon be born.

A woman went into hospital thinking she had kidney stones but ended up birthing triplets.

"I'm overwhelmed, honestly. It's still exploding in my head", said father Austin Giltz.

But she was "in so much pain all I could do was lay in bed and cry it hurt to move and even breathe, so I went to urgent care thinking I'm going to have to have surgery to break the stones up".

'So, everyone's like, I can't believe it. Instead of twins, Dannette gave birth to triplets, a son and two daughters.

Doctors told her she was actually in labour - with multiple babies.

The mother added on the post: 'I never felt movement i never got morning sickness nothing!'

A fundraiser to help the family care for the unexpected arrivals has raised more than $1000, explaining that Glitz had had kidney stones before and believed that that was what she had again.
