Iraq’s FM accuses Western forces of fueling Gulf regional tension

Japan has likewise refused to join the force, and France has expressed reservations.

Washington and its Arab allies in the Gulf have accused Iran of carrying out the tanker attacks, allegations that Tehran denies.

Iran has categorically rejected the charges.
