$500K of Goods Stolen from Alex Rodriguez's vehicle in San Francisco

The baseball legend was working the Philadelphia Phillies - San Francisco Giants game when his rental vehicle was broken into just a few blocks away from where he was working at Oracle Park Sunday.

Rodriguez had been at the stadium almost the entire day. he and his ESPN crew called the Giants' 9-6 win over Philadelphia on "Sunday Night Baseball".

Sometime between 9 PM and 11 PM, the auto was broken into, and a camera, a laptop, miscellaneous jewelry and a bag were all stolen according to the San Francisco Police Department. A camera, laptop, miscellaneous jewelry and a bag were reported stolen, worth in total around $500,000.

"It's an unfortunate situation. We're working with local authorities to address it", an ESPN spokesperson said. After the game, Rodriguez and other members of the ESPN crew went out to dinner nearby.

Teams of burglary investigators were collecting evidence from the vehicle overnight and the department has made the case a high priority, sources said.

The unfortunate circumstances come a week after Rodriguez received a positive response from the crowd at Yankee Stadium when he broadcast a Sunday night game between the Yankees and Red Sox on August 4.

A-Rod celebrated his 44th birthday at his Miami home in late July - days after he gifted JLo a red Porsche at her extravagant 50th birthday bash in the city.

Lopez, the star of upcoming "Hustlers", wore a Versace dress to the gold-themed affair, which featured surprise performances by rapper Fat Joe, Ashanti and DJ Khaled.
