The next live-action film is not supposed to release anytime soon, and it is good to see the animated film paving its way for Wonder Woman fans.

DC Animation has finally released the first trailer of Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, only the second animated film to feature the DC superhero in a solo starring role. At first, you may bring up how we're yet again seeing how Diana Prince (Rosario Dawson) and Steve Trevor (Jeffrey Donovan) first met, although it becomes quickly apparent this'll diverge from other tellings of the tale in short order. However, the key difference here is that several of Wonder Woman's foes appear to be present. Comic fans may recognize them as Villainy, Inc., a super-group of Wonder Woman's greatest enemies.

Bloodlines takes place within the New 52 inspired continuity films. Michael Dorn will provide the voice of Ferdinand, while Adrienne Moore will portray Etta Candy. After her efforts to save the world and being an ambassador of it, she will earn the title of Wonder Woman, which the official synopsis suggests. Marie Avgeropoulos co-stars as Silver Swan, with Kimberly Brooks as Cheetah/Giganta, Courtenay Taylor as Dr. Poison, and Constance Zimmer as Veronica Cale. Equally strong in body, heart and will, she makes it her mission to help a troubled young girl enlisted by a deadly organization known as Villainy, Inc., whose criminal members have their sights set on invading Themyscira, Diana's paradise home. "Prepare for a thrilling quest packed with brutal battles, mysterious mythology and endless wonder!"

At the time of this writing, Warner Bros. have yet to confirm a release date for Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, though Heroic Hollywood reports an October 22nd debut. Let us know in the comment section below!
