After the enormous success of Kabir Singh, a Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy, Karan Johar got the rights of the South superstar's next film Dear Comrade even before its official release.

"Yesterday was such a big day, an important day in my career". I have invested all my emotions into the film for about a year. Even my friends are surprised that I am getting emotional these days. This is because of the film.

Vijay Deverakonda is happy that "Dear Comrade" is doing "extremely well" at the box-office.

Mithali took the initiative of hosting a special screening of the film for underprivileged children and also to Deputy High Commissioner of United Kingdom to Andhra and Telangana, Andrew Fleming.

Meanwhile, the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda's super-hit Arjun Reddy - Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead - released last month and set Bollywood's box office on fire. The film sees Deverakonda don the role of a hot-headed youngster who falls in love with a state-level cricketer, played by Mandanna.

"I really don't understand the term - collections and the math behind it". This is my biggest achievement.

The college canteen song from 'Dear Comrade' became popular more for its visuals and it was a disappointment to see that the makers chose to remove the song from the theatrical release of the movie only because of the run-time. This is one of my favourite films and album. "Bharat Kamma's father must be very proud of this achievement", the actor said.
