The launch of Redmi K20 and K20 Pro is just around the corner and Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain has taken to the social media to reiterate just that. Let's do it, guys. "4 weeks to go".

This further means that the device will be launched sometime in mid July.

A few days ago, Xiaomi posted the AnTuTu benchmark scores of the Redmi K20 Pro, establishing the fact that it is "the world's fastest smartphone". Now after its China launch, the Xiaomi Redmi 7A might also make its debut in India and Europe as well.

Redmi Note 7 Pro is on sale again in India today. However, the pricing of the devices in the Indian market is likely to be close to the China pricing.

The Redmi K20 Pro starts at 2,499 Yuan (about ₹25,200) for the 6GB/64GB model. There are three more options-6GB/128GB option priced at 2,599 Yuan (about ₹26,200), 8GB/128GB priced at 2,799 Yuan (about ₹28,200) and 8GB/256GB variant at 2,999 Yuan (about ₹30,200). The entry-level variant with 3/32GB storage had a starting price of $158, so the Redmi 7 Pro is expected to tag along that line. To recall, the Redmi 6 Pro flaunts a 5.84-inch notched display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio. But, the processor is different under the hood.

The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are quite similar phones with two differences: the K20 comes with Snapdragon 730 SoC and 18W fast charging, while the Pro variant ships with a Snapdragon 855 chipset and 27W fast charging. The rear camera setup supports AI features like AI scene detection, AI Portrait 2.0, and a Night mode. The Redmi Note 7 Pro houses a 4000mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and NFC support.

On the front, the handsets pack a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system topped with company's own layer of MIUI 10. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back of both the smartphones. This includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. It is paired with a 13-megapixel wide angle lens.
