Bharat inches closer to 200 crore mark at the Indian box-office

The film has raked in a whopping Rs 255.58 crore worldwide, Bharat producer Atul Agnihotri tweeted on Friday.

Apart from becoming the highest opener of the year, Bharat has also turned out to be the biggest opener for Salman Khan, surpassing Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which had collected Rs 40.35 crore on its first day.

However, its weekdays' earnings didn't match the initial numbers, leading to a steady collection domestically. Owing to the popularity of the film, what is your prediction of Bharat's final box-office collection. Meanwhile, Salman Khan has thanked the Indian cricket team members for watching his film in England, and wished them best for their upcoming matches.

Time and time again Salman Khan has proven that he is one of the most loved superstars in Bollywood. Though the film failed to surpass the business of Avengers: Endgame, which had minted Rs 157 crore in just three days.

It comes as no surprise that the fan frenzy around the megastar is equally unique. He said this film was his career's biggest opener. Salman and Katrina are busy with "Bharat" success interviews and the makers of the film also arranged a meet and greet session with the veterans who had witnessed the partition of India-Pakistan in 1947. With the total up to Rs. 173.85 crores now, Bharat is expected to cross Rs. 200 crores mark coming Monday. The film has received a mixed response from the critics. Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial is a mix of action, humour, drama and emotions. It also stars Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff on pivotal roles. ib "Bharat" superstar Salman can be seen in five different looks and this has been drawing the audience to the screens.
