With the rumours of Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah clashing with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi, Salman Khan has finally put the dilemma to rest. These two maestros clashing at the box office would have been the one to go down in history.

Sharing the new release date, Salman tweeted, "I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it. #RohitShetty Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020". However, Salman Khan chose to take to his Twitter to announce the new release date of Sooryavanshi along with an adorable picture with Rohit Shetty. His tweet came in reference with the rumours which suggested that the movie will clash with Salman's upcoming, Inshallah, alongside Alia Bhatt, set for an Eid 2020 release. The first look poster of the film was unveiled in March when the makers also announced that it will hit theatres on Eid 2020. "Inshallah" will see Salman reuniting with his "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" director Bhansali nearly after 19 years.

Sooryavanshi, that brings together Katrina and Akshay after their 2010 film Tees Maar Khan, is Rohit's latest cop film. Akshay Kumar plays the role of an ATS officer in the film. The film will see the "Khiladi 786" actor reuniting with Katrina Kaif almost after a decade. Karan Johar, who is also co-producing Sooryavanshi shared the same photo and wrote, "The ultimate Khiladi & the blockbuster director are arriving on 27th March 2020 in your cinema halls with #Sooryavanshi!"
