A recent post by Xiaomi suggested that the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro could launch under a different name, possibly as the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro under Xiaomi's own label, as earlier speculated by a Polish website.

The page indicated that this was the Mi 9T but actually has official renders of the Redmi K20 and is also listed as the Redmi K20. Retailer Mobile2Go is now offering imported units and the base model with 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage is offered at a lower price than the high-spec Xiaomi Mi 9.

The K20 series was announced in China last week and it comes in two versions - Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. There will also be a triple rear camera setup onboard the model.

Specs-wise, it's believed that the Xiaomi Mi 9T and/or Pocophone F2 lineups will house the same internals as the newest Redmi handsets. Also, the holding said- "Starkly Superior to the Latest One - Coming Soon Redmi K20 The Flagship Killer", the company even to tease OnePlus, used the surname of Tony Stark and said Starkley Superior. The device has a fingerprint sensor of the in-display variety along with a pop-out front facing camera which gives the phone a near bezel-less design.

In China, the Redmi K20 with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs ¥1,999 (about P15,125 or $289). But as per our observations in Chennai, India it's confirmed that the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will not be launching as the POCO F2 and POCO F2 Pro.
