Destiny 2's Menagerie is a new 6-player matchmade activity

Activision did cause some hindrances in the success of Destiny 2 and people did start leaving the game but Bungie did a great job with the Forsaken expansion. In addition, the Crown of Sorrow raid will be rolled out six hours after Season of Opulence launches.

Let us talk a bit more about the Menagerie. More bosses will be added to the Menagerie on June 11 and 18, and a heroic version of the mode will be added on June 25. These include ones such as the quest for a mythic rocket launcher named Truth and also objectives by Benedict-44. We also found out that Menagerie will roll out new bosses for the first couple weeks of the activity.

Bungie launches the Heroic mode for Menagerie on June 26.

The following week, July 2, players can seek out the Lumina.

In "The Menagerie", "Destiny 2" players will be assembled in teams of six called the Chalice of Opulence.

The Tribute Hall and Moments of Triumph will be unlocked for the players on July 9. The studio hasn't clarified anything about these roadmap items yet. Finally, the Solstice of Heroes event will take place during the summer, featuring new armor sets to collect. Furthermore, the former Halo developer has revealed that the future will bring about a new era for Destiny 2, presumably meaning that fresh content will continue to roll out beyond 2019 and into next year. Aside from datamining, players had no idea the recent Zero Hour mission was coming.

Right now, our focus is on Opulence.

That having been said, an image at the bottom of Season of Opulence web page leads us to believe that we will be getting Thorn's counterpart, Rose, as an Exotic weapon. Destiny's next season - and potentially a Forsaken-sized expansion alongside it - will likely drop September 4.
