Ben Roethlisberger says he may have gone too far with Antonio Brown. The signal-caller also took issue with offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner not going with JuJu Smith-Schuster enough on the final drive. Roethlisberger is doing a full interview with KDKA reporter Bob Pompeani on Monday night but a rather telling quote from the interview was posted courtesy of 93.7 The Fan's Andrew Fillipponi ahead of airing the interview. "I genuinely feel bad about that and I'm sorry".

Shortly after Roethlisberger's apology surfaced on Twitter, Antonio Brown tweeted the words "Two face", in what is believed to be a response to Roethlisberger's comments. Probably. ... That's the thing about media and social media, As soon as you say "sorry" it only goes so far. "You can't take it back", Roethlisberger said about his comments. He added that he was sorry for ruining their friendship.

Roethlisberger is making his first public comments of the offseason in the aftermath of the Brown trade, ex-teammates criticizing his leadership, and his new three-year contract that includes $68 million in new money.

Roethlisberger has frequently called out players, coaches and staff on his show, including the head coach and general manager, Todd Haley, Martavis Bryant and others.

A few months too late, Ben.

If that's the case, it doesn't appear the Brown accepted Roethlisberger's apology. Whether the latter is enough to fix a friendship remains to be seen.

While Brown didn't exactly state what he's referring to, connecting the dots shouldn't be that hard, right?
