Shahid Afridi, Pakistan's former cricket captain, invited sharp criticism from cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir after the former criticised Gambhir for his attitude problem.

Reacting to the tweet, Afridi said: "Gambhir has a mental problem and if he wants I can get him treated at my hospital". It's simple, I like happy, positive people. Gambhir, who is now in the midst of campaigning as a candidate for the BJP in the ongoing General Elections offered to take Afridi to a psychiatrist as India is still "granting visas to Pakistanis for medical tourism."The pair had a testy relationship in their playing days Afridi hasn't held back in his criticism of Gambhir in his autobiography". Afridi, in his recent autobiography, has made some eye-catching revelations.

The ace all-rounder expressed his views during the launching ceremony of his autobiography - Game Changer - in Karachi, and termed Imran Khan as Pakistan's last hope. Afridi has clashed many times with Gambhir both on and off the field.

Among other things, he further went on to add that Gambhir "has no personality".

".you are a hilarious man!"

Afridi was ready with his reply during his official book launch.

Afridi recalled how Gambhir had run straight into him when the batsman was trying to complete his single during the 2007 Asia Cup. The umpires had to finish it off or I would have. The former Indian opener was quick to answer saying that Afridi should come to India for some psychiatric evaluation, which he will personally arrange for since Indians give visas to Pakistani citizens on medical grounds. "Clearly, we had a frank bilateral discussion about each other's female relatives".

Gambhir had even criticized Afridi way back in 2011 when India defeated Pakistan in the semifinals of the World Cup that year in Mohali and Afridi called Indians small-hearted people.
