At this point, aside from some of his former Empire colleagues, it sounds like Jussie Smollett is running out of allies and supporters. "I have literally seen him violently awakening from night terrors, following the assault".

Jojo concluded by thanking the people who have stood by his brother at a time when his integrity has been brought into question. "Simply ask yourself this, 'What if Jussie is telling the truth?'".

Jussie Smollett's brother has claimed the actor is suffering profound emotional issues and has night terrors.

"Within less than three months, [Jussie's] life has been turned upside down as my family and I have witnessed him endure unrelenting attacks to his character and reputation", Jojo Smollett wrote. "To define this experience as unjust would be an understatement".

Jojo asks, 'Is that all it takes to destroy a lifelong dedication to one's craft and community? JoJo wrote about the media and police allegations.

Jojo reported that Jussie was reluctant to report the assault in January. He phrases it as a question...

"From what I know is they've also been racially charged with similar context", she said.

Ballard Croft said some people have voiced displeasure about the outcome, while others have been threatening and forwarded for investigation.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx has received a series of threats against her life and safety in the wake of her office's decision last month to abruptly drop criminal charges against "Empire" star Jussie Smollett, according to a high-ranking staffer and a political ally.

JoJo Smollett says Chicago cops deliberately leaked info at regular intervals so that "many in the media accepted these unconfirmed reports as fact" and that led to his brother being "convicted ... in the court of public opinion before he even entered a courtroom".

The Smollett case has given way to a number of inquiries into the Cook County State's Attorney's office and how it handles "non-violent" offenders, but JoJo Smollett says it should also force an investigation into the Chicago Police Department, which he claims bungled the case. Following his court appearance, his attorneys released a statement saying that the actor's "record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him".

But we can't have that now, can we?
