Coachella 2019: Will Smith Surprises Crowd On Stage During Son’s Performance

Coachella has had some pretty big headliners, but they've never had a Fresh Prince before.

The crowd was sent into a frezy when Smith hopped on stage; the footage of Will Smith rapping was shot by Jaden, who turns his smartphone camera around just long enough to photobomb his father's cameo.

"Done Did 'dat! #coachella", Will wrote on Instagram on Friday, alongside a video.

Jaden subsequently posted the same video on his own account.

Jaden's sister Willow also returned to the stage on Friday, after opening her brother's set last weekend. "Run it one more time!" However, the floating Tesla made a return.

Joining the younger Smith to perform his hit "Icon", the Independence Day star shouted to the crowd: "This is my first time on the Coachella stage, ain't no way I'm going off like that". Will - who hilariously recreated Jaden's "Icon" music video previous year - belts out the lyrics to the audience, before staring right into the camera in the clip. He used the track to brag that he'll be carried through his retirement by his son's successful music career.
