We’ve finally reached the quarter-finals of this year’s exciting Champions League. The Last 16 round was pretty exciting – Ajax surprisingly destroyed Real in Madrid, while Juventus came back from the dead to defeat Atletico thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s brilliant hat-trick.

Mouthwatering clashes await us in the quarter-finals. Ajax will face Juventus, Tottenham will square off against Manchester City, Liverpool got Porto, while Barcelona travels to Manchester United in the most exciting first duel of the CL quarter-finals.

There’s not much to go before the CL comes back and punters are excited to bet on all the matches. If you’re interested in CL betting, why not try the great Betway new customer offer? You will earn a free bet that you can use to predict the winners of the duels and possibly win a solid sum of money.

Liverpool vs. Porto

The match between Liverpool and Porto is arguably the most predictable duel of the quarter-finals. Jurgen Klopp’s side faced off against Porto last year as well, defeating the Portuguese champion 5-0 on aggregate. Liverpool hasn’t been that impressive in the CL this year, finishing behind PSG in their group. However, they did manage to defeat Bayern Munich in the Last 16 phase, which shows how powerful Klopp’s team is.

Porto is not without chances, yet bookies are right to make Liverpool the favorite for this duel. Liverpool’s odds for the first match are 3/10 while Porto goes for 9/1. It’s clear that the English side is the favorite for this match. They have a better team, but let’s not forget that Porto ousted Roma in the previous round.

If you’re not that interested in match betting, you can try your luck in the dozens of other markets bookies offer.

Tottenham vs. Manchester City

No one expected Tottenham to pass Borussia Dortmund, but they did it with flying colors. Mauricio Pochettino’s side is underrated even if their PL performance isn’t on par with the CL. Unfortunately, Tottenham drew Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the CL and is the underdog in this duel.

Bookies are giving the London club odds of 7/2 to win the first match, while Manchester City goes for 8/11. The draw is available for 11/4, yet we don’t think the match will end in a draw. City’s odds clearly show who the favorite is, but won’t bring you a lot of cash.

If you ask us, we’d hit the other markets. You can try predicting who scores first or predict the team to qualify – the odds look much better than what the match winner market has to offer.

Ajax vs. Juventus

After destroying Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, the young Ajax team drew Juventus in the quarter-finals. It will be a true test for Frenkie De Jong and his crew. Stopping Cristiano Ronaldo is nearly impossible as Atletico Madrid has learned, and Ajax’s team is much less experienced than Simeone’s troops.

Due to this, Ajax is the outsider in this match. The legendary Dutch club’s odds for the first match are 5/2, while Juventus stands at 11/10. Ajax has the home advantage in this tie and will need to be on its best to defeat Juventus.

The Italian champion looks formidable with Ronaldo in the team and is among the CL outright favorites. Not that Ajax will be easy to beat – as a matter of fact, the Dutch champion is a pretty tough nut to crack at home. With De Jong and possibly De Ligt joining Barcelona this summer, this could very well be Ajax’s swan song.

Manchester United vs. Barcelona

We saved the best for last. Barcelona drew Manchester United in the quarter-finals, who look revitalized after the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United are in a rut at the moment, so their chances of winning against Leo Messi’s team are not exactly great. That being said, Barcelona won’t have a field day in Manchester, as the team has improved a lot after Mourinho left.

Manchester is given odds of 5/2 to win the first game, while Barcelona is on evens odds. Considering the form the Catalan team has been lately, their odds look great. However, we’d go for another market for this match. Most bookies will offer dozens of other markets including handicap and goal betting where the odds look much better.
