Disney+ already has big plans for Marvel Studios, including series for Loki, Vision and Scarlet Witch, as well as Falcon and Winter Soldier.

Kevin Feige, who has played a key role in the development of the MCU since joining Marvel in 2007, will reportedly oversee the show, and the studio might convince some of the main actors from MCU movies to voice the animated series.

Ironically numerous What If stories have since been explored in full-on storylines, but with all the new characters in the comics now there are plenty of other scenarios to explore, and according to the report some of the actors from the live-action side could return to voice their characters in the animated series. For example, what if Loki had found the hammer of Thor? What if the X-Men died on their first mission? It also notes that each episode will tackle a different story or premise, like the comic that inspired it.

Which stories would you like to see adapted for the What If? animated series?

Since 1977, there have been dozens upon dozens of What If? stories written, but a few standouts include: Captain America not disappearing after WWII, Peter Parker not being bitten by a radioactive spider, Charles Xavier becoming the Juggernaut, Thanos becoming an Avenger, and Steve Rogers becoming president of the United States.

The service, which has been in development for almost three years now, is already set to have an extensive library of original content upon its expected fall 2019 debut, from the TV spin-offs of the Star Wars franchise, The Mandalorian, a prequel series to the Rogue One spin-off focusing on Diego Luna's Cassian Andor and a seventh season of the acclaimed animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Are you excited for Disney+ What If?

But if you wanted to throw out the canon and have some fun, what then?
