Actor Chris Hemsworth, known for playing the god of thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is launching his own fitness app called Centr. Called Centr, the app was created to allow users to personalize the program to their diet, fitness level, and lifestyle.

'I believe we all have untapped potential, ' Thor said on the official Centr website.

'And we all need support to achieve our goals.

Centr boasts meal plans, daily workouts, meditations and access to a "24/7 community offering support, extra tips and exclusive behind-the-scenes extras". A growing body of medical studies has shown how a plant-based diet can help prevent health issues such as heart disease, type-2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain forms of cancer.

Centr says all of the experts in the app are hand-selected by either Hemsworth or his wife Elsa, which include workouts by his personal trainer Luke Zocchi, Special Ops trainer Joasph "Da Rulk" Sakoda, Hollywood trainer Gunner Peterson and chef Dan Churchill. Plans will be offered from novice to Advanced levels and feature instructional videos from Hemsworth and his wife Elsa, as well as his personal trainer and stuntman. You can do it in the gym or at home for between 20 and 40 minutes per workout.

The app will feature a variety of workout plans ranging from HIIT, boxing, yoga, strength training and MMA.

While getting the app is free, accessing the content requires a subscription.

Centre will launch globally for iOS, Apple Watch, and online next month.
