Chelsea make new pitch to Bayern Munich target Hudson-Odoi

Chelsea are prepared to make Callum Hudson-Odoi one of world football's best-paid teenagers to keep him at the club.

Chelsea have reportedly chose to make one final attempt to keep Callum Hudson-Odoi at Stamford Bridge.

The academy graduate has been involved in the first team over the past six weeks, but reports continue to link the 18-year-old with a switch to Bayern Munich.

But Chelsea are making one last ditch effort to prevent Hudson-Odoi from leaving Stamford Bridge this month by offering an eye-watering new contract that would put him on a par with the planet's most talented youngsters.

Hudson-Odoi has made four starts and four substitute outings during the current campaign.

Hudson-Odoi would take home a basic £50,000-a-week salary plus £20,000-a-week in add-ons.

His priority is developing as a player, not money, and feels his progress is being stunted at Chelsea, having played just 51 minutes in the Premier League all season.
