In one of the more colourful stories to emerge from the January rumour mill, Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a departure from Barcelona less than a year after making the move from Liverpool - and Manchester United have been touted as a potential destination.

But Amor says, "Worried about the return on investment with Coutinho?".

However, Balague insists there is no chance of a deal happening and believes the Brazilian will stay at the Nou Camp and try and improve his form.

The January window has already been open for a week, but aside from Chelsea's move for Christian Pulisic, there hasn't been too much to shout about on the transfer front.

The 26-year-old likes to cut in from the left hand side, so, he has mostly played on the left side of the midfield and the attack.

"He's a player that thinks more about the team than himself and there are no doubts about him being one of the best players in the world".

Coutinho has scored 15 goals and registered 10 assists in 45 games since joining the Spanish giants previous year. He always played well for Barça.

Coutinho has not started a match for Barcelona since the start of December.

"Barça signed him because he's one of the best in the world and he's going to give us a lot".

Last season, the Brazilian global featured in 19 games in all competitions for the Merseysiders and directly contributed in 20 goals (12 goals and 8 assists). He is behind Arturo Vidal and Ousmane Dembele in the pecking order.

There is still time for Coutinho to make his mark this season, as the games come and thick and fast after the winter break.
