Lionel Messi is the "best" following his hat-trick in Barcelona's rout of Levante, according to director Guillermo Amor.

Messi and Barca team-mate Suarez have scored 25 goals in LaLiga this season, one more than each of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. "Luis has goals in his veins - and everything has already been said about Leo", defender Pique saod, paying tribute to Barca's prolific South American double act.

Fekir has linked with many of Europe's top clubs, including the Catalan giants, and as captain, he want to step up as Lyon look to cause an upset and knock out Ernesto Valverde's side.

Messi's hat-trick also helped him become the first player to reach the 50 goal mark in 2018 in all competitions, a feat that he's achieved in eight of the last nine seasons, as the forward has started this season in fine form.

Luis Suarez was the first beneficiary of his teammate's talents, volleying home in the first half to open the scoring after Messi danced through the Levante defence and delivered an inch-perfect cross on the penalty spot. Just minutes later, MESSI received a pass from Sergio BUSQUETS and the Argentina man made it 2-0, his first of three goals.

Barcelona imposed complete authority over Levante as they marched to a commanding win of 5-0 over the Valencia based club.

Gerard Pique joined the attack from the back to connect with a pass from Phillipe Coutinho before displaying his striking instincts with a comfortable finish to round off the scoring for the visitors. The goal stemmed from Enis Bardhi conceding possession in a unsafe position, and Messi's excellent cross was volleyed into the back of the net by Luis Suarez for 1-0.
