On the camera front, the handset has four cameras in total. A Snapdragon 845 chip powers the phone, combined with up to 10GB of RAM (with a minimum configuration at 6GB). From the newly introduced Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, the former model will soon launch in several European markets.

- One of the many highlights of the Mi Mix 3 is its all-screen design. The 8GB+128GB model will retail at CNY 3,599. This is the first time an Android smartphone is making use of 10GB RAM which only arrives in the most expensive "Forbidden City" special edition variant. Xiaomi is also set to launch a model in European markets next year that will offer a 5G NR modem.

The Mix 3 retains the ceramic back of its predecessor, and will be available in three color options: black, jade green, and blue.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 has curved edges with a slim body and bottom chin.

Xiaomi Mi MIX3 comes with slow motion video recording support. Just as Xiaomi already teased, the front of the device is almost bezel-less thanks to a sliding mechanism that hides the dual front-facing cameras (24MP + 2MP). These come with f/1.8 aperture size and f/2.4 respectively with 1.4-micron pixels and 1.0-micron pixels. The device also has dual phase detection autofocus, AI scene detection, 4-axis optical image stabilisation, and portrait photography support. Xiaomi compares the sliding design to the old slider phones. Xiaomi says the Mi Mix 3 has a 93.4-percent screen-to-body ratio (although the company has provided inaccurate measurements of this stat in the past). The Mix series has always been about pushing the boundaries of what's possible, and the Mi Mix 3 is no different. The phone will offer 5G connectivity, and have a 10GB RAM variant. In comparison, Mi MIX 2 offers 6GBof RAM. The phone is expected to run a new processor, with leaks indicating that it could be the Snapdragon 855/8150 SoC. Years ago some phones used a slide out keyboard to be able to provide a physical keyboard that did not chew up screen space. The front camera setup will be placed on a manual slider, which can be quickly and easily pushed out when needed. There's also a high-CRI selfie light at the front, and you can take advantage of the AI features here, too.

Xiaomi has been sharing multiple teasers of its upcoming smartphone.
