"Most people don't understand other people".

"I would hate an atmosphere where women are being looked down upon or mistreated in any way". It is very hard to understand other people's pain.

Giving his approval to the ongoing MeToo movement, Saif said that people were 'offended and they want justice.' He added, "What it is happening is good and it gives you a sense that something is happening". But I want to give you a clue. But nothing of that sort happened with me. "Today, we have to look after women", Saif Ali Khan was quoted as saying. You are removing a person, but everybody has worked on a project so you have to balance things.

Saif Ali Khan says he is hopeful there will be a way forward with the second season of India crime drama Sacred Games. "It was just his [Sajid's] general attitude towards women that would disturb me on set; he cracked lewd jokes openly and was pretty rude to all girls", she said.

While recalling his experience during the shooting of Humshakals, Saif said, "I don't remember anything like this happening genuinely because if it would have happened I would not have been comfortable in that environment or allowed it to happen in front of me".

After the #MeToo allegations against Sajid, Akshay Kumar, the lead star of Housefull 4, had asked to cancel the shoot.

Other artists, who have since then been called out are actor Alok Nath, filmmakers Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl and Subhash Ghai, singer Kailash Kher and several high-profile names in the world of comedy and media.

The actor added, "I was told by all not to say anything to him and stoop to his level, so I quietly finished my work as a professional and explained my stance to the producers, that I couldn't associate myself with this film anymore as I could lose my temper any moment". He asserted that people should continue with their work without having people accused of sexual harassment on board. But how many of us are listening, that is the part of this campaign that I am not so sure of because you need a certain conditioning to understand and act upon it. They don't like me talking about the show anyways. "We have to understand that how these people are behaving, it is not ok, it is disgusting", PTI reports.
