New allegation of drunken assault surfaces against Kavanaugh

"This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone", Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh said in a statement released this afternoon by the White House.

"No, and we're dealing with an anonymous letter about an anonymous person and an anonymous friend", Kavanaugh said.

Another accusation against Kavanaugh that he was asked about by Senate staffers this week: an alleged rape on a boat in Rhode Island in 1985.

The second allegation, raised by Whitehouse, alleges that in 1985 "a close acquaintance of the constituent was sexually assaulted by two heavily inebriated men she referred to at the time as Brett and Mark". "These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh".

The report as read said when the man learned of the assault, "he and another individual went to the harbor, located the boat the victim had described and physically confronted the two men, leaving them with significant injuries".

Ms. Blasey Ford says she is "terrified" to be testifying, and has received death threats for her decision to come forward and speak about a 1982 incident in which she says she was assaulted by Judge Kavanaugh when they were at a high school party. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) also said, over the weekend, that Kavanaugh's guilty will be presumed, particularly in light of his judicial philosophy, which she seems to believe is evidence that Kavanaugh is a sexual predator.

The President who bragged about abusing women on the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape has reportedly taken command of the effort to push Kavanaugh onto the Supreme Court despite allegations that, in his high school and college years, he too treated women abysmally. Not with Mark Judge on a boat, nor all those three things combined.

Jeffrey Catalan on Twitter said: "Do [sic] everyone who is going insane about what I had said I have recanted because I have made a mistake and apologize for such mistake".

They said the smaller numbers were not a concessions to her, but rather a result of the committee meeting in its usual smaller room, rather than the large ceremonial hearing room that was used for the four days of hearings with Judge Kavanaugh earlier this month.
