WE CAME AS ROMANS Vocalist Kyle Pavone Dead at 28, RIP

Metalcore band We Came As Romans has lost their lead singer, according to a statement put out by the group today - 28-year-old vocalist Kyle Pavone has died.

Hearts are breaking throughout the heavy music community at this tragic news and tributes to the energetic frontman have begun pouring in across social media.

They released their statement which stated Kyle's "loss came too early in his life" and everyone in the band is devastated by the announcement.

We Came as Romans, often abbreviated as WCAR, was founded in 2005 in Troy, Michigan, and originally went by the name "This Emergency". Information about which charities to donate to will be announced this week, the band said.

An autopsy and toxicology report is due to take place.

Pavone's WCAR bandmate Joshua Moore also added his on personal tribute on Instagram, writing: "The craziest, goofiest, most amusing and lovable kid".

Moore wrote of his bandmate, "the craziest, goofiest, most amusing and lovable kid".

'I'll see you on the otherside, Here's to hoping they'll have a fresh copy of National Hockey League for us to play together'. Their album "Tracing Back Roots" reached #8 on the Billboard charts in 2013.

"I love this picture so much because it shows you how I'll always remember you", he captioned the image.

We Came As Romans released an additional four albums, with the first one coming out in 2009, Planting A Seed. The band has had multiple lineup changes since.

Kyle joined the MI post-hardcore/metalcore group back in 2008 and has been an integral part of all of their releases ever since, from 2009's 'To Plant A Seed' up to 2017's 'Cold Like War' LP. "It was a pleasure getting to work with him and know him for a brief time".
