The company has already confirmed that the last two generations of Huawei and Honor flagship devices will be receiving the GPU Turbo feature through an OTA update later this year.

Huawei claimed that its latest GPU Turbo Technology, now available in beta mode on Honor 10, will improve performance by 60 percent and will also reduce battery consumption by 30 percent. The latter is a software and hardware optimized graphics acceleration technology that enhances the graphics performance of a smartphone by 60 percent and at the same time it consumes 30 percent less power. GPU Turbo can also compensate for games lacking HDR visuals with its rendering capabilities and offer better frame rates than similar and better spec'd devices. The single-thread performance of a GPU Turbo enabled mid-range phone can beat the performance of multi-thread performance of some flagship phones.

The company has announced the Honor 10 GT, a slightly souped up version of the Honor 10 for the Chinese market. In India, the Honor 10 is priced at Rs 32,999 and is sold via Flipkart.

It will be available in China from 24 July.

The devices will also get the AIS (Artificial Intelligence Stabilisation) feature which was first introduced with the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro smartphones. As of now, there is no information about the pricing of Honor 10 GT and Honor V10 GT smartphones. It will feature a 5.84-inch 19:9 display with a notch, dual 24MP + 16MP cameras on the rear, a 24MP selfie camera, 128GB of storage, a 3,400 mAh battery, and those gorgeous rainbow colors.

The smarthphone is powered by a Kirin 970 processor.

That feature is also going to roll out to existing Honor 10 devices and improved gaming prowess is one of the benefits highlighted by the brand. The front-facing camera is a 24MP sensor with a fixed focus lens. It is running on EMUI 8.1 flavored Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
