Israel Folau's wife Maria has hit out at Rob Kearney and World Rugby after her husband had his one-week ban for a challenge on Peter O'Mahony upheld yesterday following an appeal. Folau challenged O'Mahony in the air thrice, with the third incident ending with O'Mahony leaving through injury and Folau being given a yellow card.

The ban rules Folau out of Friday's top-of-the table clash against Melbourne Rebels as the Waratahs push for the Super Rugby play-offs.

"I believe if he does get some time, there's some real implications around the law-making process going forward". Australia were given a penalty for the incident, but Kearney was neither given a card nor cited.

Folau's partner, New Zealand worldwide netball player Maria, took to Twitter to ask World Rugby did Ireland full-back Rob Kearney's tackle on Folau in the first Test not constitute risky or foul play? James, Pat, Georgina and Andy look back on a thrilling Test Series Down Under.
