Huawei's MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro, which debuted at MWC 2018, now have price and shipping details: They're now available via Amazon and Newegg.

The Windows 10 laptop managed to beat the latest trio of Android-based iPad Pro rivals to the U.S. market last month, but now the MediaPad M5 8.4, M5 10.8 and M5 Pro 10.8 are also up for grabs at Amazon and Newegg.

One major difference with the MediaPad M5 10.8 inch Pro is that it ships with the M-Pen stylus in the box and its display has 4096-level pressure for that reason. Also, the non-Pro models feature Huawei's Kirin 960 CPU, while the Pro features the 960s processor.

The tablets come with a 2560x1600 IPS LCD, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of on-board storage. The 8.4 inch MediaPad M5 has two speakers while the 10.8 inch models include four. These tablets incorporate the elegant Huawei design language and are solid tablets for business.

Many people, including me, primarily use a tablet for media consumption and this is one area where the Huawei MediaPad M5 excels.

Both models also share the same resolution of 2560 x 1600 despite their different screen sizes, but the 10.8-inch model has a much larger battery at 7,500 mAh compared to the 8.4-inch one's 5,100 mAh unit.

It also has a pogo-pin connection that works with a sold-separately keyboard.
