Lotto Max to give away a record-breaking $112 million tonight

For the third week in a row, the lottery company is giving away a record-breaking $112 million - last week the prize was $110 million, while the week before that, it was $106 million.

Someone in Vancouver and someone in Ontario also won the two MAXMILLIONS prizes, bumping both down to $500,000 from $1 million - so that they can be split.

The odds of winning the draw are one in 28,633,528.

The winning ticket for the $60 million Lotto Max jackpot was sold in Quebec for the June 8th draw.

A $100,000 winning ticket for the Extra was also sold in Winnipeg.

Purchased in Drummondville, the winning ticket was sold to a group of 10 people, who will spilt the prize - $6 million apiece.

Although B.C. wasn't home to the winning jackpot ticket, there is someone $202,003 richer from a ticket purchased in Surrey.

For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to 49. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot or the Maxmillions prizes.

Next Friday's jackpot will be $35 Million.
