Microsoft Rolls Out the May Update for Xbox One

Final of the new features in this update are enhancements to the Xbox Accessories app, Family Settings, and new intuitive button commands. With these updates in place, Xbox has taken user feedback into account with improved ease of access and quality of life. Xbox Live subscribers can now link their account with a Discord account so you can see what your friends are playing and doing across networks. This will also allow players to start Mixer broadcasts from anywhere on Xbox One, making streaming easier than ever. This version of the Xbox OS comes with some new features, including 120Hz support, and much more.

New button commands. Button commands have been updated throughout the Dashboard so that you can more easily find common options. Now you'll be able to play online and explore the galaxies with company. Apart from the 1440p resolution and auto low latency mode on your console, you can now turn on 120Hz support for 1080p and 1440p output resolutions if you own a supported monitor or television.

In the Guide, users can now trim game clips, meaning that you no longer have to switch to the Upload Studio. While on an Xbox show, the update will more than likely be coming to the PS4 and PC at or around that date as well. We're adding a "Details" page where parents can easily find and manage all family settings on Xbox One. For example, you can now use the "View" button on Home to edit the order of blocks or reorder items within Groups. Note: "If you group your collections in My Games & Apps by letter, you will now need to select a letter to view all groups".
