Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is set to extend an invitation to Naby Keita to watch the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 26.

Keita will swap the Bundesliga for the Premier League in 2018-19 after Liverpool agreed a deal with Leipzig for the Guinea captain at the start of the season.

Dembele would likely cost in the region of the £95 million that the Spanish side splashed out last summer although Liverpool are believed to be willing to splurge such an amount having received £142 million for Philippe Coutinho in January. "Finding players that will improve the squad 200 per cent will be hard but we have do some things to make the squad bigger". Phil left and Adam Lallana was not here then, which would have been a ideal replacement but he was not involved. Then, Emre Can disappeared with injury. "That would be good news for us".

"You can never remove all injury risk and the boys still did brilliantly, but of course we will try to strengthen the squad because that's how it is". "But then the boys still did brilliantly".

Klopp concedes that his targets may have other offers on the table from other clubs, but stressed that those that do join will be entirely on sold on the club, with no compromises made on quality.

Ousmane Dembele
GETTYOusmane Dembele has endured a tough first year in Catalonia

"Simply, when he signed professional, I told his agent - with whom we have excellent relations and who is someone very reasoned - that the day that Nabil would like to leave, as I did with Alexandre Lacazette, Corentin Tolisso or Karim (Benzema) he could come to see me".

"We will be prepared, but it's always hard".

"We want a couple of players, but are only looking for good ones".

Reports in France continue to suggest that Liverpool are in pole position to secure the talented attackers signature, although Arsenal and Chelsea are also said to hold an interest in the player.

"But the players we will be bringing in we will be 100 per cent convinced about altogether".
