The fearless World War II, Vietnam and Korean War veterans will visit the monuments built and dedicated to their past while providing closure for their future.

The group consists of 80 veterans - 54 from World War II and 28 who served in the Korean War.

The nonprofit has provided similar trips to at least 150 veterans over the past eight years. "That feels good when someone says thanks and you never expected it".

The group relies on fundraising to make the Honor Flight a reality. The event typically draws in 1,000 people! To take part in the celebration, arrive at Terminal 2 by 2 p.m. on Sunday.
