Embiid acknowledged that the mask bothered him at times Thursday night.

"It was annoying", Embiid said of the mask.

It looks like we have a fun series on our hands! "And there was a real confidence the way he played to make those shots. We completely get it", Brown said before Friday's practice. "I don't really get caught up in that". People going against us.

He banked in a turnaround straightaway jumper - a fortuitous bounce - to put Philadelphia up nine late, then connected on a 3-pointer and added a pair of throws to start the spurt that put the game away for Philadelphia. As a result, one would imagine that the Heat will try to disrupt the Sixers by taking their physicality up a notch.

Game four of the best-of-seven Eastern Conference series is Saturday in Miami. Each team received three technical fouls.

Heat forward Justise Winslow played perhaps the best half of basketball of his life during Thursday's 128-108 Game 3 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, but his most memorable moment had nothing to do with the way he played.

Dario Saric and Marco Belinelli added 21 points each for the Sixers, who took a 2-1 series lead with Game 4 looming today.

The Sixers are far from intimidated.

"That's what I live for. I love contact. I felt like they needed me in that way". "I'm just trying to play simple". And he had a warning:

"I'm going to be a nightmare for them, too."
Afterward, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said, "Both sprained ankles, but I think they'll be all right".

He mentioned Robert Covington, Ben Simmons, and JJ Redick for their toughness.

G Dwayne Wade was unable to replicate his Game 2 performance, as he was only able to score 8 points off the bench. Embiid had more to say about the Heat and the rest of their series, which resumes Saturday with Game 4.

"We are all hurting", Spurs veteran Manu Ginobili said after the morning shootaround.

"I want to get more rebounds out there".

Game 3 was marked by a handful of incidents that had the Heat and Sixers almost coming to blows, including a scuffle between Dwyane Wade and Philadelphia's Justin Anderson that resulted in both players receiving technical fouls. I'm not anxious about that. "So I had to work through it, and I did, and we got a pretty good win".
