Partly sunny, calm winds and a high of 76 in Longmont today

Mild tonight. Cooler Tuesday with gusty winds and high fire danger. Thursday warms into the 60's for most areas, but winds and clouds will be increasing ahead of our next system. Highs Monday will be near 51. Highs will struggle to hit 50 Thursday afternoon, but the chill is brief. Highs later in the afternoon will be near 70.

The humidity will be low. Clouds will have departed, and the strong wind will have diminished. Clearing skies and calming winds will let the temperature slide into the low 30s and upper 20s overnight. Winds will lighten up. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s are possibly on Saturday.

A high pressure system will deliver a substantial warm-up Tuesday into Wednesday.

Chickasha residents can expect a warm and sunny week until Friday. We should hit 80 before winds turn from the north to cool us down.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s.

TODAY: Rain, some heavy, gusty winds up to 45 miles per hour, chance for thunder.

All tornado warnings for Hillsborough County have been canceled. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

The wintry weather the Rockford area is experiencing is putting a halt on outdoor play or spring sports around the area.

The upper level trough has started to move over the area this morning. We have a small 20 percent chance of showers in the forecast. It will be windy, with a risk of stronger winds with the storms.
