Bucks' Giannis, Dellavedova to play in finale

The Bucks say forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and guard Matthew Dellavedova will both play tonight when the Bucks play the Philadelphia 76ers on the road (6:40 p.m. on WTMJ).

Two key pieces of the Milwaukee Bucks puzzle - particularly their All-Star forward - will be back for the last game of the 2017-18 regular season.

Prunty's team appears to be getting closer to full strength after winning three of their last four games, and five of their last seven.

Interim head coach Joe Prunty said the Bucks are waiting until Antetokounmpo is strong enough to do everything necessary in game action.

A loss tonight though would mean they could either finish with the 6th, 7th or 8th seeds. He sat out Saturday's win at the New York Knicks with the same injury. But the medical report has kept Prunty busy fielding questions about how much time injured players need to regain chemistry with the rest of the team.

Greater Atlanta Christian grad Malcolm Brogdon returned from an injury that cost him a good portion of the National Basketball Association season Monday night, rejoining the Milwaukee Bucks just in time for the upcoming playoffs.

"I'm going. I'm playing tonight", Brogdon said earlier Monday. Dellavedova's injury was more series, sidelining him the last two months. "We've got to find a way to make it work, and we will".

Prunty has plenty of other proven scoring options in forwards Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker, along with point guard Eric Bledsoe. He is shooting 53.1 percent from the field, 30.9 percent from deep.

"We definitely know we can't win the whole thing without (Antetokounmpo)".
