OnePlus has been busy working on the upcoming OnePlus 6 as the new flagship smartphone. Earlier this year, the company has already pulled down the global roll out of OxygenOS 5.0 for the OnePlus 5. We day so as OnePlus has recalled the open beta updates for several models. Recently, the OnePlus 5T and other smartphones from the company received open beta updates rolling out new features and improvements. OnePlus does caution those interested in trying out these builds that "This is beta software".

Though OnePlus has recalled these open beta updates, there is no word from the company regarding when the issues will be fixed and these updates will be rolled out to the users of the OnePlus 5T, 5, 3T and 3 smartphones.

If your phone is already broken or showing some bugs, know that you have to wait for the next update. Comments from the OnePlus forums indicate that the reason may be excessive battery drain, but OnePlus hasn't officially commented. If you visit the previous links provided, they will now link to previous OnePlus builds. The OnePlus handsets usually provide great battery life but OnePlus wants to fix these issues before bringing back the beat updates. Well, that's the price you should be ready to pay when you enroll in beta programs. The versions which have been pulled down include Open Beta 7 for the OnePlus 5, Open Beta 24 for the OnePlus 3T, Open Beta 33 for the OnePlus 3 and Open Beta 5 for the OnePlus 5T.
