Real Madrid chief's rapid response to latest Ronaldo to Man Utd claims

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has dismissed comparisons with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo - who has scored 37 goals in 35 matches across all competitions for Madrid this season - is contracted until mid-2021 and Perez dismissed speculation that the 33-year-old superstar could depart the Santiago Bernabeu.

Talking ahead of an open training session with his first football team, Bolt said that he is a big fan of Ronaldo, but he has more in common with Messi, saying they both benefited from a natural ability.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, is now earning €21 million (R306 million) yearly, but the club are reportedly prepared to increase his annual salary to €30 million (R437 million).

"The way he's played it's hard to find one [like it] in Europe".

Real Madrid have commented on the recent speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave the club in order to become one of the highest paid players' in world football.
