Google, at the MWC show, displayed two new Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphones- Micromax Bharat Go and Lava Z50.

"Lava and Micromax, two leading Indian smartphone manufacturers, will introduce the first set of 4G smartphones powered by Android Oreo (Go edition)", it added.

Android Oreo Go is created to run in phones with 1GB of RAM or less, which makes the device a low-end smartphone.

Both the 3X and 3V will feature dual main cameras in the rear, while the the 3 will only have a single lens array as its main camera.

Huawei Y5 will be a low-end device, where it will have the configuration of the MediaTek MT6737m SoC which is also supporting Nokia 3 and All View Viper V3. Some reports are saying that the Price details are expected to be available locally which isn't clear now.

Well, reports are coming that Alcatel 1T will have Android Oreo 8.1 along with1280x800 pixels resolution and a 10.1-inch display. Both tablets are designed for the entry-level market, and both share the MediaTek processor and same 1GB RAM allocation. There's also a 13-megapixel rear camera variant of the smartphone. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with front LED flash. It runs Android 7.1 with stock Android UI, is controlled by a marginally predominant Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-center processor with 2GB RAM and offers 16GB inward storage with the alternative to extend it with microSD cards. It'll also be available in three colors; black, blue and gold.

While the Z50 costs Rs. 5,000, Google had earlier said that certain Android Go smartphones will not be priced over $50 (or approximately Rs. 3,247). It has an 8-megapixel camera on the back. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi among others.

The smartphone is already on sale in the US. Thanks to optimizations to the platform and apps, Android (Go edition) provides double the storage available for use out of the box.

"This partnership is a major milestone for the "Mera Pehla Smartphone" initiative".

Airtel started the "Mera Pehla Smartphone" initiative in October a year ago, through which it has partnered with several handset makers to launch bundled 4G smartphones at budget-friendly prices. These smartphones will come pre-loaded with Airtel apps including MyAirtel App, Airtel TV and Wynk Music.

Android Oreo (Go edition) had been launched with a slew of other India focussed products last December at the third edition of Google for India which included Google Go-a new search app, a new "two-wheeler mode" in Google Maps for India, and a special version of the Google Assistant for the JioPhone.
