Manchester United have been handed a boost in their rumored pursuit of Christian Pulisic as the forward reveals he is a fan of the Premier League club.

United States worldwide Pulisic has established himself as a key man at Dortmund, drawing reported interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.

As such, any and all clubs planning summer moves for either Bailey or Pulisic will likely face a tough task in securing one of their signatures, with Bayern long-renowned for snatching up the finest young talent that the rest of the Bundesliga has to offer.

Although the American star insists he's focussed on Borussia Dortmund, he's fuelled speculation linking him with United after confirming he's a boyhood fan of the Red Devils.

Klopp was Dortmund manager when Pulisic signed for the Bundesliga side and it was believed that their previous relationship would make Liverpool favourites to sign the United States worldwide.

In an interview with ESPN he was asked whether or not he was a United supporter growing up, and his response: "Yeah, I was".

Aubameyang knows Pulisic well, having played with him at Dortmund in recent seasons before his transfer to Arsenal last week.

"Yeah, I was. I was definitely a big fan [of Man Utd]".

"Of course, right now I am under contract with Dortmund and I'm not looking around or doing anything like that so I'm very focused there".

Pressed further on whether the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League is a challenge he would like to take on at some stage, Pulisic added: "Of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league".

"But what I think you guys really don't know is just how nice of a character he is and how much he cares and how hard he works".
