Announced earlier today, rock giants REO Speedwagon and Chicago confirmed a co-headline North American summer tour launching mid-June and running through August.

The tour includes more than 30 stops, beginning in California and ending in MI. The band has a total of 47 gold and platinum awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. The shows will feature a full performance of the "Chicago II" album along with various hits from Chicago's long career. The group is known for hits like "If You Leave Me Now", "You're the Inspiration" and "25 or 6 to 4". We all share that Midwest rock' n roll ethic.

While Chicago's moniker tells you where the band originally was from, REO Speedwagon's roots are also in Illinois, specifically University of Illinois, Champaign, where the band was formed in 1967.

"It's always a party sharing the stage with Kevin, Neal, Bruce, Dave, and Bryan!". We work hard, rock hard & take care of business.

Between them, the pair of IL bands were huge on rock radio in the 1970s and "80s".

The bands - who have sold 140 million records combined - will play at Denver's Pepsi Center.
