Liverpool have no new injury or suspension concerns for the game. Does that mean we will be successful? No. Does it mean we have a chance? Absolutely especially at home at the John Smiths Stadium.

The 28-year-old England worldwide has made nine league appearances this season but Klopp said he would only be allowed to leave Anfield if the deal was right.

It is different, and it is special. We [Jurgen Klopp] have a friendship and a relationship which is extraordinary, but at tomorrow at 8 pm it doesn't matter.

'It's all about Huddersfield against Liverpool and we are both in a situation where we need the points.

The Merseyside outfit do not have much time to feel sorry for themselves, with Klopp's men back in Premier League action on Tuesday night with a trip to Huddersfield. So given the opportunity to let off some stream at Klopp's expense - after Liverpool's FA Cup defeat to West Brom on Saturday - Barton didn't hold back.

When asked about his response to the back-to-back losses Liverpool had suffered, Klopp went on to mention Lallana again, adding: "He's not ready for Huddersfield".

'Everybody can surprise everyone, ' he said.

"In the next three days a lot will probably happen but nothing to say about that", Klopp said. "We didn't want to have this sort of run but we had a similar period in November (when Town lost four in a row) and we turned it round because we did what we have to do now - focus on ourselves".

The hosts are expected to recall Aaron Mooy, Alex Pritchard, Christopher Schindler and Jonas Lossl, with the quartet rested for their FA Cup against Birmingham at the weekend.

Terence Kongolo has recovered from the knock suffered against Birmingham and trained today.
