LaMarcus Aldridge led San Antonio with 17 points and joined Forbes as one of five Spurs in double figures. The Spurs are 11-15 away from home. DeMar DeRozan, fresh off the news he's been voted a starter in the National Basketball Association all-star game, contributed 21 points.

The Spurs have been much better, but credit Toronto's defence and the Raptors' shotmaking in the fourth period.

In Parker, Ginobili and Gasol, the Spurs have three future hall of famers on their roster, each from three different countries. DeRozan said that even without its stars the Spurs are a risky team.

"It was one of those things that we got told (Wednesday) morning and we can't do anything about it", Spurs guard Patty Mills said "We can't control it, so this is it".

The Toronto Raptors are making their way to the top of the Eastern Conference. Both teams played feature great defenses and the Spurs were without three of their key-components.

Wizards 122, Pistons 112: Bradley Beal and Kelly Oubre Jr. had 26 points apiece and Washington scored 45 in the third quarter before holding off host Detroit.

Lakers 99, Pacers 86: Jordan Clarkson scored 16 of his season-high 33 points in the final quarter to lead Los Angeles to a 99-86 victory over in at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Leonard played against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday and looked solid, posting 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals in just over 28 minutes of action. This was a game in which both teams struggled mightily to put the ball in the basket.

That toughness was evident in the fourth quarter as San Antonio's deep roster kept them in it. It was tied at 46 at halftime, though. Point guard Goran Dragic added 17 points.

The Hawks won back-to-back games for only the second time this season and snapped the Pelicans' three-game winning streak. Caris LeVert and Joe Harris each added 12 points for the Nets. "It wasn't going in the right direction, it was going the other way and you've got to be confident in your body to go out there and play at the level that he's expected to play". The Nets gave him all he could handle. It was Brooklyn's first lead since the 5:41 mark of the first quarter. The Raptors need 20 more wins in the regular season to get to 50 for the third straight season.

Grizzlies 106, Kings 88: Reserve Ben McLemore had 12 of his season-high 21 points in the fourth quarter and Dillon Brooks scored 22 points as Memphis spoiled Zach Randolph's return in a victory over Sacramento at the FedEx Center. The power forward received a standing ovation when he was introduced with the starting lineups.

The unusually low-scoring affair continued through the second quarter.

Gay, who spent two seasons with the Raptors between 2012-14, has missed San Antonio's last nine games as he deals with a right heel issue (note: Gay spent his off-season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon in his left foot). Otto Porter also supplied 16 points, while Markieff Morris tossed in 13 and Marcin Gortat added 10.
