She's imbued with centuries of magical power and it really shows in her first gameplay trailer for Injustice 2.

Injustice 2 has dropped a new gameplay trailer for upcoming DLC fighter Enchantress, and she should be a unique addition to the game.

Enchantress, DC supervillain and recent star of the Suicide Squad movie, is the latest fighter to step into Injustice 2's ring. It's unknown whether NetherRealm will stop at those nine, however, or continue with a small batch of fighters, similar to what the studio did with Mortal Kombat X.

The first move we see from Enchantress is a standing counter: she does a pose and when her opponent attempts to hit her, she disappears and reappears from above.

Enchantress is the eighth of nine planned DLC characters for Injustice 2. She joins the increasingly huge roster among previously released downloadable characters such as Red Hood, Sub-Zero, Starfire, Black Manta, Raiden, Hellboy and The Atom.

Injustice 2 is a fighting game that allows players to suit up as their favorite DC heroes and villains and duke it out in single-player or online. The disassociation is brief, however, and the Enchantress flies back into Moone's body. The pièce de résistance is Enchantress's Super move, where she rips the soul out of her enemies, making them fight themselves into submission.

For her part, Enchantress is a part of Fighter Pack #3 in Injustice 2. Following her in February will be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Enchantress will available for those who purchased Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or the title's Fight Pack 3 expansion on January 9. She will then be available for purchase as a standalone character on January 16.
