Consumer Reports has published its final iPhone X testing results and has given the Apple flagship smartphone a recommendation but ranked it below iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

In its report, Consumer Reports made some complaints about the iPhone X battery life and says that it does not last as long as the battery in Samsung phones like Galaxy S8.

The phone features the best camera – for both stills and video – that CR has ever tested. It does not have the size or the features or the battery life but at $1000 dollars, the iPhone X is a vulnerable phone. But if youre looking to save money or for something more durable, the iPhone 8 duo (even the iPhone 7) are a solid option.

This will be a blow to Samsung fans keen to see how it responds to the iPhone X and whether the Galaxy S9 will be a revolution or evolution on the design of the critically-acclaimed Galaxy S8.

The reviewer also praised some features of iPhone X, like its handsome display, Face ID. and outstanding cameras, which makes it much better than iPhone 8.

When it comes to battery life, the iPhone X lasts some 30 minutes more than the iPhone 8's 19 hours of use, while the iPhone 8 Plus scored 21 hours in the same tests.

Although the iPhone X didn't stand the durability and battery test, it beat all the smartphones' cameras and earned the highest camera score out of all the smartphones tested by Consumer Reports.

The phones on the Consumer Report Top Ten list is a very close call, phones are competing with a few points' difference. The main reason of iPhone X lower rank than Samsung devices is their superior battery life.
