We may have no sides in the FA Cup draw for certain, but there was plenty of excitement to be had watching the third round draw tonight.

Attractive national ties see Liverpool host Everton in a Merseyside derby, while Nottingham Forest welcome Arsenal and AFC Wimbledon face a glamour trip to face Spurs at Wembley.

The last time the two sides met in this competition was in 2012 and Liverpool were 2-1 winners on that occasion.

Brighton & Hove Albion are at home to Crystal Palace having played out a goalless Premier League draw against their bitter rivals last week, while Middlesbrough welcome Sunderland in an all north-east affair. Crystal Palace Aston Villa vs. Woking or Peterborough United Bournemouth vs. AFC Fylde or Wigan Athletic Coventry City vs.

Arsenal have been drawn away to Championship side Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round.

This is the stage at which all Premier League and Championship teams join the tournament, plus the teams that won previous qualifying rounds.

Manchester United entertain Derby, while city rivals Manchester City have been handed a home draw with Burnley. Beadle told BBC Sport: "Former Premier League champions coming to Edgar Street - we've got 90 minutes to get through but if we do, there's the incentive". And with the two sides set to face off for the first time this season this weekend, it's likely the FA Cup tie will serve as a chance at revenge for one.

All third-round ties will take place on the weekend of January 6.
