It has been a great year for Nintendo fans, with the new Switch console as well as a throwback console based on the beloved Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Mr. Kimishima had said that the company is making theme-park and movie deals less for the potential profits from licensing than for the additional sales revenue that could come from "synergy with the dedicated video game business".

Elder Scrolls Skyrim on Nintendo Switch has just been released and it's a title that everyone is curious about.

The company confirmed that total US hardware sales were over 1 million units, so consumers picked up at least 666,000 Switch, Super NES Classic, and 3DS consoles. Black Friday sales, so far, only list the Switch as in stock, with no discounts or even bundles, a clear sign that it is likely to be a hot commodity over the holidays.

Skyrim Nintendo Switch Edition has already been compared to all the other consoles and it runs so well that Youtuber Arekkz Gaming chose to do a side by side comparison with the most powerful console right now, the Xbox One X on 1080p.

Nintendo's mascot has been enjoying a lot of attention lately; his latest adventure, Super Mario Odyssey, launched on October 27, garnering acclaim from fans and critics. Nintendo also said at the time that it now expects to sell more than 14 million of the hybrid console by March 2018.
