Cricketer Yuvraj Singh Booked For Domestic Violence By Sister-In-Law Akanksha Sharma

It seems like Yuvraj Singh is gearing up for a cracker of a festive season after Bigg Boss 10 contestant Akanksha Sharma has reportedly filed a domestic violence case involving the former team India cricketer.

The first court hearing has been scheduled for October 21. And a recent news surfaced that the Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh was accused of domestic violence along with his brother Zoravar and mother Shabnam by none another than Akansha Sharma.

When the lawyer was questioned about Yuvraj Singh's involvement in the issue, she said, Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence.

The lawyer claimed Akanksha's mother-in-law and husband had been pressuring her to conceive, while also subjecting her to "mental and financial torture". She said Yuvraj was a silent spectator to the suffering that was caused to Akansksha by his mother and brother. In her words, "When Yuvraj and Zoravar's mother were pressurizing Akanksha to have a baby, Yuvraj too had joined in to do the same". Earlier a year ago, when Akanksha was a part of the Bigg Bos show, she had accused Yuvraj and his mother for her separation with Zoravar.

As per the lawyer's statement, Yuvraj even warned his sister-in-law that if she did not obey his mother, she had no place in the house.

"She added, "Really, that lady is extremely dominant".

On the show, Akanksha also alleged that she was being harassed by her in-laws. The separated couple had filed for divorce past year.

There have many citings on part of Akanksha in the Bigg Boss house which created ripples and she has spoken at length about her broken marriage in many of her interviews.

The domestic violence complaint by Akanksha has been filed in Gurugram.

Speaking of violence, Malik said that her client was not beaten up mercilessly by Zorawar but was slapped.

. "This recovery could possibly be of some jewellery, it's not of money", she said. "Let me elaborate. Akanksha was asked to get up at 5 am and make tea, when there were 3 cooks in that house".
