While you can pre-load the game, don't forget that servers won't go live at least a day until launch, and there's most likely a day one patch for it too. Call of Duty: WW2 pre-load will take up nearly 45 GB of HDD space on Xbox One which is quite standard for current-gen consoles.

You know it's nearly Call of Duty time when the live action trailer drops for the latest game.

In other Call of Duty: WWII news, two weeks ago it was revealed that season pass owners will receive access to a bonus map Carenten, which was originally featured in the original Call of Duty, United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2. We expect the PS4 Call of Duty: WWII pre-load to start on October 31st or November 3rd.

If you are on the Xbox One and you don't see this option yet, check under ready to install on your console. They are claiming the first weekend of November "Call of Duty" weekend. It's not clear if this includes Double Weapons XP, but it's not something we are counting on.

This year's Call of Duty returns to the World War II setting of the original games.
