Delhi: Missing bartender's dismembered body found in fridge

He also allegedly switched off his mobile phone after the victim's family kept calling him repeatedly, police said.The dismembered body of the victim, Vipin Chand Joshi, was at the house of his friend, Badal Mandal, on Saturday. Joshi had been missing since Monday night after which his parents approached the police, filing a complaint about him going missing, and the police launched a manhunt to trace him.

Though the house was locked, they were alarmed by a nauseating stench coming from the building, after which they called the police. The officer said, "During investigation, it was revealed that he often used to visit Mandal's house which is a few streets behind his own but when it was checked, it was found that he was on leave since October 8".

He had been missing for a couple of days, police said, adding that his family members had, in search of him, reached his friend Badal Mandal's house here.

A youth who was missing for the last three days was found dead in a refrigerator in New Delhi's Mehrauli area on Saturday.

A case has been registered and the police have launched a search for Mandal, who is the main accused in the case.

When the investigation began, Badal's house couldn't be located for two days.

According to the Newspaper, Additional DCP (south) Chinmoy Biswal said, "Our teams have got crucial leads".
